Orange Papaya Smoothie

Orange Papaya Smoothie

Finally, Summer time has arrived and there’s not better way to beat the heat then to enjoy some refreshing cold Smoothies. This time I’m bringing you the goodness of Fresh Orange Juice, Papaya, Red Pear and Coconut water.

I love-making different kinds of smoothies ….cause Smoothies can be made in many different varieties, flavors and the texture is smooth and creamy ….in most smoothies. It can be made with fresh “Fruits and Vegetables” or frozen fruits it can be sweetened with “Honey” or “Chocolate”.

Fresh Oranges

Smoothies seems to be targeted or marked only for the “health-conscious” people but, honestly I think it’s a drink that everyone should enjoy. Yes, a lot of people now-a-days add soya/almond milk, whey powder, flax-seeds or other herbal supplements to make it even more healthier or beneficial…… Consuming “Fruits and Vegetables” on a regular base is a benefit on its own !

I had a very nice huge ripe Papaya that I we were not able to finish off ….so I peeled it, de seed it and cut into small cubes placed it in my freeze for later use. Well, I must say this smoothie was so delicious …red pear and papaya made the texture smooth and creamy with the added sweetness and the Fresh Orange Juice added the zest to the smoothie. Coconut water gave it the sweet refreshing taste.
