Red Grape Avocado Smoothie

Sometimes, I think we take smoothies for granted …we get use to a set way of making it and that’s what we stick to. I always use to do the standard … add greens, with a vegetable and fruit and then add in a flavored juice or water …and for the extra kick protein powder or flax seeds ….done!

Well, suddenly my routine broke I had no “greens” in my fridge so that’s when I came up with Seedless Red Grape Avocado Smoothie.

Few weeks ago I had bought really nice sweet delicious seedless red grapes, but we weren’t able to finish them all so I washed and froze them to us later. Like I always say instead of throwing out ripe fruits ….clean then up, peel, cut and freeze to enjoy them in delicious smoothies/juices.

Avocado…..a fruit that originated from Mexico and now is being used in many different ways. Many people enjoy eating Avocado raw especially when it ripened up.  It’s also used for making dips, salads, in sandwiches and smoothies and much more.

This smoothie has the goodness of sweet seedless red grapes, avocado, ripe banana and natural coconut water.

Red Grape Avocado Smoothie

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Serving Size: 2

  • 10-15 Seedless Red Grapes ( fresh or frozen)
  • 1 avocado - peeled, seeded
  • 1 ripe banana - peeled
  • 1 cup - coconut water (with/without pulp) I used without pulp.
  • 1 cup - cold water

Into a blender add in all of the above ingredients and blend till a smooth consistency reached. If you want it more liquid then adjust cold water to your preference.

Pour into desired glass and Enjoy!
